MANCHESTER, England — Brazilian international Robinho is no longer stirred up about a move to Barcelona from English Premiership side Manchester City, according to ESPN Soccernet.

Robinho, who is set to make a return to action for City against Hull on Saturday after being ruled out of action since August, because of a stress fracture of the ankle, was reportedly ready to join the La Liga and European champions Barcelona.

“I’m very happy about the interest that Barcelona have in me. Playing at Camp Nou, it is much easier to be the best player in the world than at City,” he told Brazilian radio station Radio Bandeirantes.

But according to a report by ESPN Soccernet on Thursday, such a report is not accurate and the player “has set his heart on a move to the Spanish giants.

Meanwhile, the website also reports that Liverpool manage Rafael Benitez “is facing yet another internal crisis as his players are unhappy with the “bad atmosphere” within the club’s dressing room.”

Liverpool were dumped from the Champions League early and are struggling to pull their way into the top four of the English Premier League at the moment, but the report suggests that “the negative environment has existed for some time.”
