Lee Miller strike added to Rangers’ doleful record at Pittodrie after the visitors were beaten 1-0 by a 10-man Aberdeen in the early game in the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League on Saturday.
The battling Aberdeen side took the lead after 17 minutes when Miller reacted smartly to nudge home Michael Paton’s cross, scoring his his third goal of the season.
The Dons were, however, reduced to 10 men on the hour mark when captain Mark Kerr was dismissed for a second yellow for a challenge on Steven Naismith.
Rangers came hard at the home side until the final whistle, but were unable to break through the walls.
The victory now means Aberdeen continue their good run against the Glasgow giants in last nine visits to the Granite City.
