Real Madrid summer signing Karim Benzema is set to wave away the approaching interests reportedly being shown by Chelsea and Manchester City.
Madrid newspaper Marca reported that a number of English Premier League clubs have made a few enquires about the French striker’s availability, with Man City and Chelsea making offers to bring him to England in the summer.
But the 22-year-old who turned down a move to join Manchester United in the summer to sign with Real from Lyon for a £30million fee, insisted he is quite comfortable at the Spanish giants, despite finding life difficult at the start.
Benzema lost his starting place to the inform Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain, but he has recently started to show the kind of form that made him one of Europe’s hottest properties during five seasons in France.
Most recently Manchester United was again linked with a move for the target man but he is determined not to leave the club as quickly as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who left Ajax for Madrid in January and was sold to AC Milan in the summer after failing to find the same touch.
