Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has distanced himself from reports claiming he will finally make a move to the Premier League in the current transfer window.
The 21-year-old Argentinian is rumoured to be wanted by both Chelsea and Manchester City.
Chelsea were believed to be preparing a £40million move this month following the easing of their transfer ban pending an appeal and the loss of the likes of Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou to the African Cup of Nations.
However, Aguero has pledged his immediate future to the Spanish club and claims talk of an impending move to England is just speculation.
“I have always made my commitment to Atletico clear and the whole world knows it,” he told their official website.
“One shouldn’t pay too much attention to everything that comes out.
“The only thing I am doing is playing and thinking about the team.”
