Man United Set To Beat AC Milan And Real Madrid For Ninis
Manchester United have reportedly open talks with Panathinaikos in a bid to bring the midfielder Sotiris Ninis to Old Trafford in the new transfer window.
According to reports, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has made an £8million move for the Greek international.
The Red Devils had been linked with the 20-year-old earlier this year but the club was not eager to sell.
However, it is now believed that the Premier League giants have opened new talks with representatives of the Greek side regarding a transfer.
Ninis, Panathinaikos‘ captain, has also attracted interest from European giants AC Milan and Real Madrid – but it would appear as though United are in pole position to seal a deal.
Manchester United were one of the least spenders in the summer, as they only brought in Javier Hernandez, Chris Smalling and most recently, Portugal striker, Bebe.
