Manchester United target Pepe Warns Real Madrid Over Contract

Manchester United target Pepe wants Real Madrid to sort out his future with the club as quickly as possible.

The central defender contract expires at the end of next season and he could move to any club for free.

It is being reported that English Premier League side Manchester United are monitoring negotiations between Madrid and Pepe, and could pounce on ant chance available.

The 27-year-old says he is calm over his future but wants the situation resolved as soon as possible.

“When Madrid show they intend to keep me, it would be logical to suggest my first option is them,” he told Marca.

“But we are footballers and when the club does not show an interest, it is obvious I’d have to find a life elsewhere.

“I have this season and then a year so I have time. If it was up to me, it would have been renewed by now because I love the team and the fans.”
