Panama Line Up Argentina And Lionel Messi For Exhibition

Panama officials have lined up Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi for an exhibition game on July 18, just a week after the World Cup finishes in South Africa.

The match, which will open Panama’s remodeled Rommel Fernandez stadium, will be played between a team of European and Latin American players and coached by Brazilian Zico and German Bern Schuster.

Officials on Wednesday said only Messi had been secured to play and that others will be announced at a later date.
